Probate Fees & Process

Probate (uncontested cases with all assets in the UK)

George Anthony Andrews can help you through this difficult process by obtaining the Grant of Representation on your behalf. We will also undertake the collection and distribution of the assets.

Obtaining the Grant of Probate (where no Inheritance tax is payable)

The fee is £1500 plus VAT.

Estates that fall within this range are dealt with on average within 3-6 months. Typically, obtaining the grant of probate/letters of administration takes approximately 3 months. Collecting the assets follows the issue of the grant, which can take between 3- 6 months. Once this has been done, we can distribute the assets, which normally takes 4 to 6 weeks.
